By using MoneyKit (“the Site”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
Permitted use
- You may use all calculators free of charge, for personal or professional planning. No account is required.
- You may share the URL of a specific calculator output (with query parameters) with anyone. You may embed screenshots of results in documents, blog posts, or presentations with attribution.
- You may not scrape the Site at a rate that degrades service for other users, nor circumvent any rate-limiting we implement.
- You may not reverse-engineer the Site to build a competing calculator product. You may of course re-implement the public formulas — they are in the Finance Act and RBI Master Directions.
No warranty
MoneyKit is provided “as is” with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. See our financial disclaimer for what MoneyKit is and is not.
No professional relationship
Nothing on the Site creates a client relationship (fiduciary, advisory, or otherwise) between you and MoneyKit. We are not your Chartered Accountant, Investment Adviser, lawyer, or banker.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MoneyKit, its contributors, and its hosting providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site — including but not limited to tax demands, penalties, loan denials, interest costs, investment losses, or any other financial outcome you attribute to a number computed by the Site.
Third-party links
The Site links to regulatory sources (incometaxindia.gov.in, rbi.org.in, cbic.gov.in, etc.) and to secondary references (ClearTax, BankBazaar, Groww, etc.). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of linked sites.
Intellectual property
The content on the Site (explainers, diagrams, copy) is ours. The open-source portions of the codebase carry their own licenses. Fair- use quotation of explainer content with attribution and a link back to the source page is welcome.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The revision date at the top of the page reflects the most recent update. Material changes will be called out on the homepage.
Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
